Treasure Hunts

You guys find any treasure? I've always wanted a super power I call "Treasure Vision" because it's like having X-Ray Vision except for treasure and not for peeping.
For me I found 5 bucks in a pair of pants at Goodwill today and no I didn't buy the pants but it was a cool experience. Gosh I want to find more treasure so bad.

You should take up geocaching, then. I use a handheld Garmin, but if you have a phone you'll have some form of GPS.

@dasho At first I thought you meant hunting for geodes, like those rocky eggs people crack open. Then I looked up the price of a Garmin and thought "wow that's expensive I should just buy a metal detector then," even though that has nothing to do with GPS but then I actually looked up what geocaching is and that sounds cool! Thank you for the recommendation

A school vehicle driver used to stop sometimes to collect cans he found, but once there was a 200₪ bill on the road and he didn't care about that.

Not treasure per se but I did find a real-life secret passage once.
I was in an old house and I swore I felt a draft behind a bookcase that was built into the wall. When I looked around the edges, I noticed that the frame didn't quite touch the wall. With some nudging and wiggling, the entire bookcase slid free!
Behind it was a large open space with musty wood beams and thick dust on the floor. No treasure, sadly. Just dust and spiders.

That's still pretty cool though!

@JadingTsunami Check under the thick layer of dust, it's one of those secrets within secrets.

Found a Mithra (I think it was Mithra!) statue once in Ostia Antica. I swear there was no sign pointing towards it and it was "kind of" placed off the beaten trek. Incredible experience, I must say.
