Not sure it's ok to post stuff that is not maps, but while this may not look like much, I may have gotten my DOS port show those "taller than thou" textures on tops, bottoms and single-sided mids, so can load jumpwad without annoying texturing artifacts on skyscrapers and Hierapolis walls seem ok as well (at last):

RE: Yamaha FM Synth Music Appreciation Thread
Diode Milliampere is an incredible artist in the "tracker" scene who is using Yamaha chips.
I urge you to check out his recordings https://diodemilliampere.bandcamp.com/album/direct-digital-remasters-vol-1Some of his tracks are part of this set

This one I can listen over and over and over again

Does "you should put version at the top of ZSCRIPT lump" count?
Also - in Doom II remember to play with a paperweight on keyboard Shift button. -
RE: Best way to end a wad?
One idea that I had for a time in the future when I may actually start mapping was to end a wad with a CTD.
I.e. you're done with a final boss, and then you move to certain space in a special area afterwards and - boom - you transcend and the game just terminates in a flurry of weirdly blinking colorful ascii.
Not that impossible I'm thinking now with recent advances in code injection.

@Dusk-Iv Thanks! I hadn't mentioned it here, but Antiquity is definitely targeting Doom Retro-specific features, though all of these are aesthetics-only (for now). The wad should work in anything that can run MBF21, but the dream is to make the Doom Retro analogue to Heartland.
Ah.. and that was the moment I was hoping to finally see a weapons pack that would fit Epic visual style AND be "lightweight" on compatibility side
But anyway, being a big fan of Retro, I'm definitely looking forward to playing this. Looks great. -

RE: Yamaha FM Synth Music Appreciation Thread
Interestingly, it has only been a couple of days that I have discovered Luke Jansen's renditions of classic games music, and I enjoy so much his "glow ups" of Wolf 3D Menu theme and Nightmare 3D music. However for me the real gem is his take on Lightspeed/Hyperspeed soundtracks.
So, I'm curious if quality AdLib recording of the original Hyperspeed soundtrack have been spotted, as I'd very much like to listen to them.
