Curious if anyone knows any MIDI people that can make MIDIs out of (video game) music by ear. I don't know how well it can be done but I'm willing to give the cash, buy a gift card, or trade services for it.

I had a unique idea for a project but there are hardly any MIDIs that fit a similar mood to this piece I'm looking for:

Though that's probably because Killer7 is big in my head for it. There aren't any MIDIs that have a similar rhythm and feel to those in the game and I wonder if they don't exist because transcribing them would be too complex or wouldn't sound good.

Interesting. I've never been able to transcribe by ear, but just listening this I think the lead is a bit too complex for MIDI, so if you did get this transcribed, it would probably have to be with some concessions.
Though I know one person on the forum who's capable of midifying music: @Anarki

If the site crashes, my awesome admin powers are probably to blame.

Yeah it does have a lot of complex delicate mixing to it. I'll take the opportunity to list other music pieces that I'd like faithful MIDI renditions of.

This track has a similar feel to what I desire from the Killer7 music. Chill but with a contemplative rhythm:

This track I know could be a MIDI and it may well exist already but I failed to obtain the Windows port of this game:

          Another PC-98 track:

way old thread but: That Desire track isn't a MIDI at all. Ryu Umemoto, the composer, did all his PC-98 work using Music Macro Language; basically, its written in a sort of programming language.

Figures. The Windows port still leaves me a glimmer of hope though (tried selecting it from a huge VN torrent but it didn't work).

Don't remember exactly what the last YouTube link in my last post was but it was probably this:

sharing more music because why the heck not:

Apparently there was a Win9x version of Desire! I found this GM version of Spiral so I'm certain there's gotta be a GM version of Reflector too.

Here it is: DESIRE - Reflector.mid

Ripped from the Windows 95 port, courtesy of Dragon UnPACKer, and special thanks to @segfault for enlightening me about Dragon UnPACKer!

                  YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! 😄
