YAY IT'S HERE. Also includes these two things that you guys can copy and paste as well. The houses are exactly as they appear, and the floating structure is the local command center of D'Sparil's forces (based off of Naxxramas from WoW). I will also include these in the test map come a future resource pack update.

Lookin' slick guys thanks. I think I'll be able to submit my map tomorrow.
I also figured out a lore structure for the WAD. As in the level after the first is the credits map, but all the mapper's houses are locked until the end for a revisit (it's a village that can be expanded upon during development).If you want an NPC sprite to represent yourself in your house you're welcome to provide the graphic you want e.g. Strife Guy or Chex Guy.Entering the village the first time you have a list of various named Disciples of D'Sparil and you cross out their names one by one.
Having the final monster of your map being the disciple, like how there's always one monster in the exit room. You can use all the disciples you want, but if you want that extra touch then kicking the ass of the final disciple monster would work.Thoughts on this are very welcome of course! You are also welcome to name your map's authoritative discipleEDIT: Crossed stuff out as I don't think I'll be going in that exact direction. There will still be disciple storytelling and your credits map personal touch though.

SOON! Sorry about the slow start and hope no one has lost faith but it's the new year now yay! Hopefully can get a whole bunch of maps in this month in a big burst of fantastic heretical activity.

@SilverMiner I'll be testing in Crispy Doom. I can try to use those lumps if they come up yes. Several software-rendering ports are the target ports.
Crispy Doom, Woof, Doom Retro, dsda-Doom, or (L)ZDoom in software mode are good. I don't know if Eternity renders the sky transfers "properly" since I never tested the Amorphous Euphoria in it.

@kvsari The fire animation graphic is only 63 wide so there are 63 frames. It goes from ZA_000 (being the first) to ZA_062 (being the 63rd). The amount of frames is how horizontally large the graphic is.

Still, I want to focus this thread on Doom WAD textures you like and want to use. I'm thinking for spheres it could just be a plain solid color circles, with white circles for light. They could even be repurposed as repeating circle patterns.

There are more maps I want to make that wouldn't have a home except here in Amorphous Euphoria space and that's why a sequel is on the table. CUSTOM TEXTURES ALLOWED!!
This thread is to collect requests for custom assets and the like. Besides some of my favorites like lush green hedges and shiny techbase trims, it'd be nice to have some big floating spheres to lean in more towards vaporwave/vintage CGI aesthetics
As things currently stand this thread will likely hold for a year. Share textures and concepts you'd like to see in a sequel. Resources will still be curated by me though of course. If you want your map to have a dancing cat gif and a photo of your dinner surrounded by checkerboards and flowers then by all means you can!

- Get your maps in sooner than later because I can't wait to see what you all come up with! Lengthy magnum opus maps only welcome if you know what you're doing!
- Limit-Removing format. Specifically of the Heretic type!
- Any submitted maps are subject to be modified by me for error corrections or quality control purposes.
- You do not have to use a MIDI included in the resource pack. You may use one of your own MIDIs however I will change it if it hurts the (thematic) consistency too much/hurts my ears. If you don't know what music to use I can choose for you from all I have.
- Do your best and weave some good heretical adventuring!
This project will now release March 23rd. This is final and won't change. Please submit your maps before March 20th.

@kvsari You can ignore those. The sprites are from the Heretic sprite fixing project. I might actually remove those, at least for the time, since it is pretty annoying to see every time the editor is opened. The errors that show up is one of the reasons I went ahead and merged the resource WADs.
Does anyone want NPC textures? If you want to write a lot of text but don't want to align each letter then use c.eev.ee/doom-text-generator/ to generate your words as a single graphic and include it with your map when you need it. They'll be from here. Feel free to look for anything else you want from that pack as well.
Also MUSINFO works with Crispy Heretic so we can have more than 1 episode with unique music so problem solved there!
